Who qualifies for free school meals in New Jersey?

New Jersey expanded income eligibility for free school meals, so now more students may be able to get breakfast and lunch at no charge. Students qualify for free meals if their household income falls at or below the limits on the chart below. NJEIE does not apply to schools/sites participating in CEP.

Who qualifies for Summer EBT?

New Jersey students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals, according to the federal income eligibility guidelines, can receive Summer EBT benefits. It’s important to note that households must meet the federal income limits, not the NJEIE mentioned above.
