A big thanks!

We wanted to extend a big thanks to ACME customers and ACME Markets Foundation for supporting our efforts to end childhood hunger.

In-store donations during Hunger Is Action Month in September added up to an amazing $60,000 in donations. These much-needed funds will support our work to ensure all New Jersey children have healthy food to eat every single day.

These generous donations will be used to educate school officials about the benefits of breakfast after the bell and help them implement successful school breakfast programs. School breakfast helps to fight childhood hunger and fuel school success.

We’re so grateful that the ACME Markets Foundation chose Hunger Free New Jersey to receive these funds. We know that the foundation sets a high standard for its Hunger Is grant recipients. Grants go only to organizations that have the greatest impact on fighting childhood hunger.

We’re proud to be part of that recipient group and thank ACME Markets Foundation and their customers for helping us continue to make a difference in the lives of New Jersey children.

ACME Foundation is a longtime supporter of hunger relief causes. In addition to raising money at each of its stores, the foundation donates food from stores and distribution centers. This equates to millions of dollars in food and financial donations each year to help people who need it most.

Again, a big thanks to ACME Foundation and their many customers who donated to support our organization. Hunger Isbeatable!
