Far too many New Jersey children face hunger. Connecting these children and their families to federal nutrition programs can reduce hunger and help these children grow and thrive. For 10 years, Hunger Free New Jersey led the NJ Food for Thought Campaign, which helped to greatly increase participation in child nutrition programs. In 2021, we integrated this work into our broader efforts to reduce hunger. We continue to work with a legion of partners at the local, state and national level to expand the reach of nutrition assistance. This section of our website provides information about key child nutrition programs, advocacy tools and links to other resources.
